Tampa Fishing Guide Redfish

Summer Fun!

Last Updated on May 14, 2019 by SteamWorks

Summer is almost here and the fishing is going to be excellent. The white bait is starting to show up more and more on the flats. That means easy fishing if we are able to net bait. Sometimes it can be a struggle, but other times is one and done. Redfish have been cooperating lately and the snook bite has been outstanding. The last trip we landed 10 reds from 27 inches to 34 inches. Those are big reds for Tampa Bay. The trout bite has been steady in deeper water and the mackerel, jacks and ladyfish will all join the party soon. Tarpon are here and are beginning to show up in the bay. You can always find them near the passes and off the beaches. Cobia and kingfish are also swimming around, and the permit are coming closer to shore and on the near shore wrecks. I highly suggest booking a trip today. If you are interested in a Tamps Fishing Charter, you can call or text me at 407-977-7650 or 813-358-6046. “Our group had a blast with Capt. Casey. The boat was comfortable and had plenty of room to accommodate our group of 5. Very knowedgable, very friendly and great fisherman. The redfish and trout where great for dinner.”
