ABOUT CAPTAIN BUCKY GOLDMAN

My name is Captain Brian “Bucky” Goldman, a USCG licensed and insured Florida fishing guide. My goal is to provide a safe and fish filled adventure on beautiful waters of Tampa Bay. I have spent 5 years guiding on the east coast of Florida in Mosquito Lagoon chasing giant reds and monster speckled trout. Now I am bringing my knowledge back to the west coast where I grew up fishing.

As a native of Florida, I’m deeply familiar with inshore fishing along the waterways of Florida around the Tampa and Sarasota area. Here you will have the chance to target Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, Black Drum, Snook, Tarpon (seasonal), and many other variety of fish these water systems have to offer. Out on the water, you may also witness some of the exciting and wonderful wildlife including alligators, manatees, porpoises, and countless exotic and native bird species.

Although I am a conservationist and believe in catch and release, upon request I will gladly clean and bag your catch, but I highly advocate only taking enough fish for dinner that night. use of Florida´s fishery resources.

Captain Bucky will provide everything you need for a successful day on the water. No fishing licenses are required as up to 4 passengers are covered under the Captain’s Fishing License. The captain will also provide all tackle, bait, photos, and enough iced bottled waters for everyone. Alcohol is permitted, but please NO glass bottles, and please drink responsibly. The captain can and will terminate the trip without a refund if he determines that the passenger(s) are no longer safe to have aboard. All photos taken will be texted or emailed to clients as soon as conveniently possible.

Weather in Florida is always a factor so please anticipate the ability to be flexible due to poor weather conditions. In case of a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded or we will reschedule for a later date.

My friends came down to Tampa to watch out beloved Eagles,we decided to book a fishing trip with Capt Bucky! We met at the causeway dock and after a short ride we were on the fish. Man can’t say anything but good things about Capt Bucky. Despite it being a tough bite we stayed around fish all day both days I fished and caught a 35 inch snook and a 32 inch redfish. He knows how to put you in the fish and is a great guy. Highly recommend . Can’t wait to fish with him again

Captain Bucky did a great job putting us on multiple species of fish, including Reds. He is a great teacher too. Had a friend with me who hardly ever fishes. Within 1.5 hours he had him catching more fish on artificial baits than he was previously on shrimp. maybe most important, he is an easy guy to spend 6 hours with and fun to be around.
