ABOUT CAPTAIN BUCKY GOLDMAN
My name is Captain Brian “Bucky” Goldman, a USCG licensed and insured Florida fishing guide. My goal is to provide a safe and fish filled adventure on beautiful waters of Tampa Bay. I have spent 5 years guiding on the east coast of Florida in Mosquito Lagoon chasing giant reds and monster speckled trout. Now I am bringing my knowledge back to the west coast where I grew up fishing.
As a native of Florida, I’m deeply familiar with inshore fishing along the waterways of Florida around the Tampa and Sarasota area. Here you will have the chance to target Redfish, Speckled Sea Trout, Black Drum, Snook, Tarpon (seasonal), and many other variety of fish these water systems have to offer. Out on the water, you may also witness some of the exciting and wonderful wildlife including alligators, manatees, porpoises, and countless exotic and native bird species.

Although I am a conservationist and believe in catch and release, upon request I will gladly clean and bag your catch, but I highly advocate only taking enough fish for dinner that night.

Captain Bucky will provide everything you need for a successful day on the water. No fishing licenses are required as up to 4 passengers are covered under the Captain’s Fishing License. The captain will also provide all tackle, bait, photos, and enough iced bottled waters for everyone. Alcohol is permitted, but please NO glass bottles, and please drink responsibly. The captain can and will terminate the trip without a refund if he determines that the passenger(s) are no longer safe to have aboard. All photos taken will be texted or emailed to clients as soon as conveniently possible.

Weather in Florida is always a factor so please anticipate the ability to be flexible due to poor weather conditions. In case of a cancellation, your deposit will be refunded or we will reschedule for a later date.

Verified Redfish baby! Captain Bucky always finds the fish! Redfish, trout, snook etc. I’ve been out on his boat a few times in recent years and it’s always enjoyable. Fishing with Captain Bucky feels like I’m fishing with a good friend but friend with great fishing and boating skills.

Verified Capt Bucky Delivers Took my brother out for a day of fishing. Weather conditions were less than ideal. Capt Bucky was great at keeping us out of the wind and on the fish! Caught some really nice snook and reds. Super nice guy and would highly recommend.

Verified Post Idalia trip Bucky was great. Really personable and tried so hard to put us on fish, despite unfavorable conditions a few days after a hurricane. We managed to put a mix bag in the boat, and had an amazing time.
