These past few weeks have been spectacular and its only getting better. Recently I have been focusing on my live bait game. Netting white bait and chumming the flats with excellent results. Lots of redfish and countless snook. Some days have been double digit redfish and countless snook with a few big trout mixed in. The tarpon are starting to show up and have been a bit tricky, but we have managed to put a few in the air. Artificial remains consistent but for numbers live bait is the key right now. The inshore flats are getting good concentrations of white bait and pinfish are so thick you could walk on them. The warmer it gets the more bait fish will appear.
