RECENT TAMPA FISHING CHARTERS

Tampa Bay offers some great spots to fish. With great weather and warm waters year round, you have a great opportunity to see a lot of different species native to the Tampa Bay area. Take a look at some of our most recent Tampa Fishing Charters.

The last two days were exciting and heartbreaking at the same time. Day one everything came together and the fish were happy. We put up an amazing weight of 15.10 pounds for 2nd place. Then Saturday came and a monster front blew in making conditions unfavorable and a little unsafe for a flats boat. We tucked away and prayed. We found multiple schools together of well over a 100 fish and most were the size we needed they just wouldn't eat. We did catch two small reds and lost a good one under the boat that should have put us in the money. We ended up 11th place out of 41 boats. Not bad competing against some of the best redfish anglers in Florida. Lots to learn from these tournaments. Looking forward to the next one. @bagemfishingcharters #bagemfishingcharters #powerpoleredfishtour #powerpole #pennreels #stcroixrods #procurebaitscents #motorguide #gillzgear #doalures #costasunglasses #mirrolure #cablz #redfish #ifyouaintfirstyourelast #lol #ilovefishing #betterlucknexttime

Looking for some sponsorship for future tournaments. It would be greatly appreciated.

Did a little solo scout mission this morning. Landed over a half dozen reds and lost 2. I caught reds on a paddle tail jig, a curly tail on a jig, 17mr mirrodine, gold spoon, and lost one on a DOA sna-koil. Also had several looks at a fly but no luck. Sight fishing is fantastic and the redfish bite is fire 🔥. I weighed most of the fish 6.1, 7.3, 10.2, 7.2 and a beast at 33" and 12.01 pounds. Book your artificial trip today. Another fun morning with Nick. Started the morning catching a 22" trout. Caught 5 reds today which is crazy for the amount of fish we saw tailing. They were just super picky today and we tried everything for them. Book your trip today if you want to target these spotted tailers. Www.tampafloridafishingguide.com ...

What a beautiful day today. Caught a few nice reds biggest coming in at 31 and 3/4 inches. Then we went and hit the trout caught a lot and most were 18 to 22 inches. I am going to start focusing on artificial and cut bait trips. Now is the time with these negative low tides. If you're interested in a charter and want to learn more about working artificial lures I can show you a thing or two. Www.tampafloridafishingguide.com ...

Rio came back out with me today. Duck hunters gave us some problems this morning so we had to bounce around a lot. Finally around 11am I decided we need to go where I wanted to start the day. 30 seconds there and Rio hooks a nice red on artificial but it pull the hook boat side. I try to always have some cut bait with me so we posted up. 8 more reds and a nice snook, and we called it a day. Lost 3 other reds who smacked the bait just didn't commit. Matt, and his sons Noah and Zach came from Orlando to fish with me again.. The first trip we absolutely crused the snook. Second trip was a struggle all day and only caught a few fish but did get Matt a over slot redfish. Noah and Zach never caught a redfish and really wanted to catch one. Today didn't start out how I hoped. The wind was ripping, it was cloudy, and the water was dirty. For the first three hours nothing, I said we need to go back to where we started because I thought I saw fish earlier, but again it was too hard to see early in the morning. My intuition paid off. As soon as we got to where I thought I saw them they were everywhere. First fish was 34 inches and ended the day with the third triple header. A 35 inch, 34 inch and 33.5 inch triple. Total of 20 redfish today and all over slot. Www.tampafloridafishingguide.com ...

Fun morning with Luke and Kelly from Colorado. Action was non-stop first thing this morning. Doubles on redfish. Lots of snook and big trout. Middle of the day was a grind catching a few fish here and there, but the end was insane with frothing schools of jacks. Caught half a dozen drag screamers to end the day. Fishing is excellent right now. Www.tampafloridafishingguide.com ...

My client today was amazing. Such a good attitude. Didn't care if we caught fish or not. He said he had only caught a snook before, but he wanted to catch redfish, trout, a shark, and whatever else we could catch. First three fish were a trout, redfish and a bonnethead followed up by a snook. Bite was a little slow with this steady outgoing tide so we headed to another spot to grind it out. Put two 29 inch redfish in the boat as well a a jack and some snook. Now the tide was really low. I said let's go back to the flat and throw some artificial, because he kept talking about how he likes to fish artificial. We get on the flat with the wind ripping and here come the jacks. After blasting half a dozen we continue to look for reds. We sight casted to tailing redfish putting three more in the boat and he also caught 4 more snook. We were talking as to why he booked me and he said I filled out a dozen contact froms and I was the only one who called him back and I did it withing 30 seconds of him filling out the forms. He was blown away. Not only was I the only one to call him back, but none of the others guides tried to contact him and he has been booked for over a week. So I load up my and start to leave the boat ramp. I noticed a gentlemen trying to change his tire. Pull up to the light and I hear ping ping ping, he had thrown the tire iron.. I look in my rear view mirror and I see this guy totally defeated. I backed up made a u turn and proceeded to change his tire for him. When I got out I could see his hands were all busted up and bleeding. Poor guy was having a rough time. He was a deaf gentleman and kept gesturing thank you in sign language over and over again. I said you're welcome and went on my way. Fishing is awesome right now and these low tides are making it excellent for artificial, my favorite! Book your trip today! ...

Stefanie joined me today for a day on the water. Her biggest fish prior to this outing was a tiny little fish. Started her off with a 29 inch redfish. Followed that up with 8 more reds and a new personal best at 31.5 inches. Second spot was a bust but it was worth checking. Was just killing time for the tide to start coming. On the way back we ran into a hot tub floating in the bay, YESI said hot tub! No triple tail on it unfortunately. The next spot we caught just as many redfish as well as some snook and a trout to complete the slam. Best part not another boat around us. Www.tampafloridafishingguide.com Book your trip today!! ...

Went out solo this morning. Tried to find bait and only got some pinfish, so I decided to throw artificial. Landed 2 trout around 20 inches and 1 red about 26 inches. Then I happened to find some bait laid up. 2 casts and I was loaded up. Found some reds and put two more in the boat. Hit another spot just to look and caught a 24 inch red and a massive bonnethead on a gold spoon. Made the run to a spot I felt was going to be good. It was last year at this time. Caught 2 20 inch trout, 2 small snook, a 31 inch snook. Then the redfish bite was on..one after another. I would hook a fish and toss out another bait..Before I could get that fish in I was hooked up again. Did this at least 20 to 25 times. By myself. My hands are tore up, and my biceps are sore. Great day on the water. Largest red was pushing 32 inches. If you want to get out on the water now is a great time. Best part I didn't have one boat around me all day!!! Fun morning with Andy Hartman. I haven't been able to get out much due to home schooling my 5 year old. Avoided the crowds and put together a decent day. Would have been awesome but we lost half a dozen reds. At one point we doubled up on tailing redfish and lost them both. Book your trip today. www.tampafloridafishingguide.com ...
