Fish Falling in the Boat

Fish Falling in the Boat

Last Updated on November 2, 2020 by SteamWorks

This summer was spectacular and the fall has been nothing short of amazing. The redfish this time of year are entering their spawning time and the fish are starting to really school up. The other day we ran into a massive school of fish and ended up landing close to 40 redfish. Just this past Friday we caught 20 redfish and all of them from 28 inches up to 35 inches. We caught one triple header that measured 33.5, 34 and 35 inches of pure redfish magic. This cooling weather trend will greatly clear up the water making it fantastic to target fish both on artificial or live bait. On shallow tide days the redfish will be seen tailing on the flats. A sight that is hard to forget. Snook fishing is also great as they fish gorge themselves before the winter comes. The trout fishing is also heating up with the cooler water temps. I really look forward to these cooler months all year and can’t wait to see the fish that it will produce. I am also anxiously waiting for my new boat to be built. I am getting a bonefish hilltide 22. A hybrid bay/flats boat that has enough deck space as a 24 foot boat but floats in less than 1o inches of water fully loaded. Boat should hopefully be here sometime closer to spring 2021. If you are interested in booking a charter you can fill out the contact form on my website or call/text to 813-358-6046 or 407-977-7650. Thank you and happy holidays!

“Our group had a blast with Capt. Casey. The boat was comfortable and had plenty of room to accommodate our group of 5. Very knowedgable, very friendly and great fisherman. The redfish and trout where great for dinner.”
